COVID-19 infections have once again started to surge world over and in India following the emergence of the Omicron variant. The new Covid-19 variant Omicron has continued its global spread since the World Health Organization announced it was a variant of concern on November 24 after it was detected in southern Africa.

That includes the nose throat and windpipe. The omicron variant of the coronavirus appears to cause less damage to the lungs suggesting that the variant is different than previous COVID-19 strains. The possibility of Omicron triggering a fresh wave cant be denied.
